I’ve used the Deathadder Chroma for 5 years before upgrading to the DA V2 Pro. Nothing was wrong with the Chroma. It worked perfectly fine. I was just treating myself to an upgrade is all.

Just go wireless. Getting rid of the cable makes using it 10 times better tbh.
