I'm not saying that he CAN upgrade his cpu/gpu I'm just saying that ssd and ram won't do big work to fps etcDon't listen to the other comments... you own a laptop you can't upgrade cpu or gpu. SSD and Ram will def help, a little on the performance for both, but loading time will be decreased so that's also good. But if you want to boost fps, there's many times including changing power plans, turning game mode on, prioritizing a game... etc
Ram helps with fps, many games are starting to require 16gb rams, but SSD helps load in game a lot faster. For FPS he will definitely need to completely boost his laptop. So it helps with the performance but just not as much as he wants.I'm not saying that he CAN upgrade his cpu/gpu I'm just saying that ssd and ram won't do big work to fps etc
